I am a long time fan of chiptune music created by English artist Pixelh8. While not rocking the old school Commodore 64, NES and whatnot classic electronic you can think of Pixelh8 have his normal personality Matthew C. Ma Applegate. Such lectures on computers and music, and music applications code. Ocarbot game Monday from his room 1 Studios. The first is a real brain volume logic puzzle game called 6X9.
Ocarbot into a 2D platforming puzzles sokoban block. The goal of each level is to help get rid of the media Ocarbot exit door marked quite clearly. Ocarbot is a bit limited in its capabilities, and can explain why he is getting eliminated. An arrow to move left, and to move allows him to mix on. He can also move up the scale by using an up arrow. There is no way to climb down, although other than falling off the platform. Gameplay of the game is solving puzzles, and a little platforming skills required.
This is a real brain puzzler, and it continues to beat me on the head. It feels like my brain want to escape at times. When I encounter a problem, and boy do I take a few hours of rest Ocarbot. When not trying to force a solution I generally manage to solve it after this break. There is no bypass option, and I’ve barely scraped over fifty levels available. Certainly there are many challenges, and kind of cute puzzle game to find in Ocarbot.
These challenges include avoiding magnets, push the block to fill the hole for Ocarbot and usually figure out what to do first. It requires you to have everything in proper order, and early on it is pretty simple. When it started to become more than ten steps before you have to think it does not work in my brain wants out. Sadly, the rest of my brains cells will not allow it, and do not provide. Once I beat anything it’s really useful.
The presentation is old school all the way to the world made of blocks. It did not blow me away, but it has a certain charm of its own. Music is what gets me to it in the first place, and it is amazing chiptune music game with an obvious flair Pixelh8. Ocarbot sigh when I’m not really happy, and sad at the same time.
Ocarbot is a hard game, and it will not appeal to everyone. For those who want a really challenging puzzler with many ways you can not go wrong with Ocarbot. Just do not expect to be able to play it for a few hours straight because it will drive you nuts. Ocarbot should be enjoyed in small doses to avoid the madness.
